Here are four healthy rice cakes toppings for an easy and tasty lunch or snack. Rice cakes are super versatile and whats best, they are gluten free and don’t contain any oils or food chemicals (if you buy the unflavoured ones that is!).
Rice cakes are purely just carbohydrates so make sure your toppings contain, healthy fats and protein for a balanced snack.
When buying rice cakes, avoid the flavoured ones and instead buy plain or sea salt made from brown rice. The brand I love is Ceres Organics and can be purchased at most supermarkets.

Rocket/mesclun, fried egg and sauerkraut
Tzatziki yoghurt dip, roast chicken, cherry tomatoes and hemp hearts
