Easy and delicious Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bites that are simple to make, nutritious and perfect for these summer days.
You may recognize this recipe if you have made the Homemade Magnum Ice Creams which is one of the most popular recipes on the blog. The bites are a little easier to make and do not require ice cream molds 😊
If your not a banana fan, any other fruit would work - I am keen to try make these with strawberries!
Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Bites
2 ripe bananas
2 heaped Tbsp of peanut butter
3 Tbsp melted coconut oil
2 Tbsp cacao powder
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1/2 Tbsp honey/maple syrup/rice malt syrup
Pinch of sea salt
Blend together the banana and peanut butter. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for 1 hour.
Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and using your fingers roll it into a ball. Place on a baking paper lined container, repeat with the rest of the mixture. Freezer for an hour.
To make the chocolate, mix the coconut oil, cacao powder, peanut butter, honey/rice malt syrup and salt together in a bowl.
Using 2 forks coat each ball in the chocolate mixture and place back into the baking paper lined container.
Place in the freezer or serve immediately.
