Chocolate porridge, what better way to start your day than with chocolate!? This quinoa porridge is gluten free, refined sugar free and tastes amazing!
It was actually one of the first recipes I put up on my blog 3 years ago. I went through a stage of making it every morning for a couple of months. With the cool weather now here in NZ, I am starting to crave that warm chocolatey goodness again first thing in the morning :)
The trick to making this porridge nice and sweet is using a banana that is ripe, the more brown spots the better! Taste the porridge as it cooks and if you prefer a tad more sweetness then add a little honey or even some chopped up dates.
P.s. If you love this then check out the Vanilla and Cinnamon Quinoa Porridge recipe too :)
